D58, 521, 738 is the sum approved by deputies last week Thursday for the Youth and Sports Ministry for its yearly programme.
The amount is also expected to cater for the needs of various sporting disciplines in the country including youth matters.
After a day long debate on the revised budget, the country’s lawmakers unanimously approved the budget worth D12.1 billion, which will be utilized to steer the affairs of the country, from which this package for the youth and sports ministry emanates.
This package is expected, among other things, to cater for the Youths in the areas of job creation, entrepreneurship and others including youth development. It is also meant to boost sports in the country.
