WILL THERE BE TWO, THREE OR MORE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES IN 2016?
With the formation of a Coalition comprising 5 of the Presidential Candidates, there now exist 3 potential camps for contesting the 2016 Presidential Elections. There exist the camp of the APRC, the camp of the Coalition and the camp of GDC. By 30th October, it would be known who the flag bearer of the Coalition would be. At the moment, the Gambian people are observing the current political trend. The active ones are nominating the candidates they would want to emerge as flag bearer for the Coalition or other contestants.
2016 appears to be a unique year as far as elections are concerned.
