WHY IS THE UDP LEADERSHIP AND ITS MEMBERS NOT RELEASED BY THE STATE?

72

Ebrima Solo Sandeng is dead. He has not received a fitting burial. His body is still at large. A Coroner’s Inquest has not been held. If a Coroner was informed of his death with immediacy his family members and loved ones would have known about the death. There would not have been any need for anyone to protest to find out whether he was dead or alive.

This omission of informing a Coroner is the source of all the trouble. This state should therefore accept responsibility of its own omission and release those who are now incarcerated as a result of the 14 and 16 April incidents.

This is what is in line with justice. This is what is in line with the national interest.
