Are women Immigration personnel detained or deployed at Tanji Immigration post?
We are yet to get a clear answer. However the information regarding some female immigration officers being kept away from families is disturbing. Family members are afraid to come out and speak for fear of making the women to lose their jobs. Working women are doubly burdened. They work to contribute to family income and to take good care of themselves so as to attract present or future husbands. They should not be made to suffer in any way. We will continue to monitor the situation.
