Police hunt for murder suspect

A Senegalese national wanted for murder in Brikama-market is now on the run and police investigators are still hunting him so that he can be taken to a court of law to face charges.

”The murderer is on the run and the Police is making all efforts to bring him to justice,” Police say.

According to police spokesperson, Inspector Foday Conta, the office of the Inspector General of Police had made a request from the general public to help the Police in the search and arrest of Tapha Njie, the Brikama market murder suspect.

It was earlier reported that on Tuesday, 11 April 2017, Tapha Njie a Senegalese national allegedly stabbed and killed another Senegalese national Musa Kah, with a knife on the neck which is believed to have caused the death of Musa.
