On Thursday, 9 March, 2017, no candidate for the Alliance for Patriotic Reorientation and Construction (APRC) was nominated in the North Bank Region of the country. No APRC candidate showed up at the North Bank IEC Regional office to file in their nomination papers. The reason for their failure to turn up for nomination is not known to the press. The contestants in the North Bank Region for the seven constituencies are PDOIS, NRP, Independent Candidates, UDP and PPP.
