Morocco national youth team has touched down in Banjul for their
must-win double-legged tie against Gambia.
The North African side takes on Gambia U-20s this coming Saturday at
the Independence Stadium in the first-leg with second-leg to take
place in Rabat later.The Young Scorpions must beat the Moroccans to stand on a better
footing of reaching the group stage of the Caf Youth Championship
scheduled for Lusaka.
Gambia reached this level following their demolition of the Shooting
Stars of Sierra Leone in Freetown and in Banjul to set up a date with the
Moroccans in the final round of the qualifiers.
Gaffer Omar Sise is looking to qualify Gambia after a near one-year
suspension from international football imposed by CAF for age-cheating
in the category.
The Scorpions are camping at the Seaview Garden Hotel.
