Steve, Manneh in best players of the week roster

It’s been a weekend to remember for two Gambia footballers after
getting inducted into their various domestic league team of week .
Bubacarr Steve Trawally couldn’t resist the temptation of an opengoal, banging in the opening goal for Yanbian Funde in the Chinese
Super League.
Trawally wowed the huge fan turn out at the Yanji Nationwide Stadium
lobbing the ball over the head of an advancing Chongqing Lifan
goalkeeper for the opener after thirty-three minutes ticked.  It was
Bubacar’s first goal for the campaign following a slow start triggered
by spate of injuries.
The visitors though equalized in the 68th minute via Brazilian forward
Jael forcing a share of the spoils. Trawally who scored 19 times the
previous term has played in five of those games this season.
For his inimitable display, the 21-year-old got a berth in the Chinese
Super League Team-of-The-Week –a roster of eleven players featuring
the best among the lot.
Countryman Kekuta Manneh also  had an induction into the Major League
Soccer team of the week following a dazzling performance in a derby of
Canadian clubs, scoring twice and assisting for the winner as
Whitecaps rid of Toronto FC.
