IEC to Replace Lost, Stolen or Damaged Voting Cards

The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) is hereby informing the general public that replacement of lost, stolen or damaged voting cards will be conducted from 15 to 21 November, 2021 at the IEC regional offices in

Banjul, Kanifing, Brikama, Kerewan, Mansakonko, Janjanbureh and Basse.

The replacement of voting cards will attract a fee of one hundred dalasi.

Cards to be replaced are those issued in the recent concluded general registration of voters, held from the 29 May to 11 July, 2021.

The Director of Communication at the Independent Electoral Commission when contacted, said the replacement of voting cards will attract only those who have been registered during the recent general registration of voters.

“Those who were not registered will not be considered during the process. The process is meant for only those who were registered,” he said.
