Gambia’s Gina Bass will compete Africa’s fastest woman Gonezie Marie Josée Dominique Ta Lou in the finals of the 200m All-African Games.

24-year-old Bass came second behind 30-year-old Tal Lou in the 100m finals and will be seeking to dislodge the Ivorian when the finals kick-starts.

Gina has been Gambia’s standout performer in recent years and is counting on taking a last short at the African Championship 2018 100m and 200m gold medalist.
