By Suwaibou Touray The Gambia Government has donated $500,000 US Dollars to the neighbouring state of Guinea Conakry, according to a press release from state house in Banjul October 16th 2014. The release went on to state that the Gambian president made this donation to Guinea to help it fight the Ebola epidermic in that country. It could be recalled that the Gambia gov’t has earlier made a similar gesture to Siera Leone in August 2014 to help that country fight against the Ebola virus disease out break saying: “When your neighbours house is on fire, you should help with a bucket of water.” ]]>
