Adama Ceesay, a native of Jarumeh Koto in Sami District, Central River Region is seeking for assistance to enable him re-build his house which was totally destroyed during in last year’s rainfall.
Speaking to this reporter at the Foroyaa office yesterday, Ceesay recalled that on the 23 July, 2016 his house was flooded and he lost all his materials. “My house was totally destroyed by the flood and we lost all our clothes, food stuffs and documents,” he explained.
According to Ceesay, after the impasse, he tried to create a temporal place for his family to stay. He said the flood carried along all his grains which he should use during the raining season. This he continues led to low harvest for him in the past raining season. Currently, he said he is not staying together with all of his family members due to lack of shelter.
Ceesay who relies on farming to support his family is calling on all philanthropies government, non-government organisations and individuals to come to his aid in other to bring his family together.
