APRC Holds Meeting in the Fonis

The APRC delegation, on Tuesday, 22 November 2016, during the 9th day of their nationwide tour held meetings at Sibanor, Foniaprc-yahya Bintang, Karanai and Bwiam, Foni Kansala which were done in the absence of the President and Chairman of the APRC party.

The National Assembly member for Foni Bintang karanai, Ebrima Solo Jammeh, underscored that in the past election they scored 94% and 98% in voter turnout.Mr. Jammeh continued that APRC is not owned by President Jammeh but rather owned by the good, peaceful and progressive Gambians. He noted that President Jammeh always appear in white attire which stands for peace whilst the Qur’an stands for truth and that means he is a man of peace and tranquility who speaks for the truth and the truth alone.

The Minister of Information and communication Infrastructure who also doubles as the APRC liaison officer for West Coast Region, Sheriff Bojang appealed to all those with voters card to come out early and vote on December 1st and not to delay time for voting.

Never say President Jammeh will win with or without my vote because your votes are your voices and it shows your civic rights, says the information Minister. He said that during the nationwide tour the turnout of the people appeared alarming and that should be translated into votes.

He also noted that The Gambia has health insurance for free medical care, free education at all levels and that no European country has that golden opportunity all thanks to President Jammeh.

Musa Saho, Alkalo of Sibanor, noted that the people of Foni Bintang Karanai know no one other than President Jammeh and therefore will whole-heartedly manifest their votes for APRC.
Alkalo Saho acknowledged all the great work done by Jammeh in developing their region and the nation, but urged him to provide them with drinkable water as a person cannot live without water because it is one of the basic human needs.

Aja Tombong Sayang who spoke on behalf of the Constituency Women Mobilizer and the Constituency Chairman, Masanneh Jammeh said President Jammeh was accredited by the Almighty God for the Presidency and not by voting.

“We have the best agriculture and that the government gave us agricultural equipment for free, free fertilizers,” she said. He therefore renew their loyalty and promised to massively vote for President Jammeh like they have done in the 2011 election, when they got the highest voter turnout which they shall maintain.

Speaking at Bwiam, Foni Kansala meeting, the Alkalo, Tombong Badjie assured the President and the APRC of the country’s undivided loyalty noting that Foni Kansala is united and will continue to rally behind President Jammeh.

Bwiam ward councillor Alhagie Youba Jarju said President Jammeh will take ownership of the presidential election again noting that the president did not come to rally due to the fact he knows Foni is fully behind him and the APRC party. Foni will register a landslide victory for the APRC, says councillor Jarju.

Batorr Ceesay the Constituency women mobilizer, Sir Demba Faal Bwiam’s VDC and other speakers made similar sentiments.
