By Kebba Jeffang Mr. Edrisa Touray, the Alkalo of Sambouyaa village in Kombo South, West Coast Region, was arrested at his residence and detained at Gunjur police station since Wednesday, 21st January, 2015, a family source revealed to Foroyaa. Investigation at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court reveals that up till yesterday no charge has been registered against him at the court. Family sources also indicate that they are not aware of any charge that has been brought against him. Our information is that Mr. Touray was on Monday morning detained at the Brikama police station. When contacted for further information, the police spokesman A.S.P David Kujabie said he was not aware of his arrest but promised to find out. Subsequent attempts to talk to him were unsuccessful.
