School Teacher Allegedly Stabbed, Died

By Kebba Jeffang One Alagie Jobarteh, a teacher at Abuko Upper Basic School, was reported to have died after he was allegedly stabbed with a knife by a colleague (name withheld) at the school premises in the afternoon Thursday, 30^th October, 2014. A source told this reporter that the two teachers had an argument prior to the incident.                                                                                                     When contacted, A.S.P David Kujabi, the police spokesperson, confirmed the incident and added that the suspect is in police custody while investigations are ongoing. The deceased, a resident of Lamin village, was said to have been buried on Monday. The suspect is said to be originally from Kalagi in Foni Jarrol, but is residing in Brikama in the West Coast Region.    ]]>
