Laws are made to prohibit what is harmful to human beings and promote what is helpful. This requires the gathering of facts which are not one-sided.

The committee should balance all these facts in order to develop a fair view on the subject matter. All Gambians should put emotions aside and allow the facts to be said so that a proper assessment can be made to determine the merit of the Bill.
