QUESTION NOF THE DAY
The National Assembly is meeting today in an extraordinary session as a result of a request from the executive. The Agenda includes a supplementary Appropriation Bill. Foroyaa will find out whether the Bill contains any request for a contingency fund to deal with national disaster and the purchase of vaccine to immunize Gambians against COVID 19. The country should not depend on charity alone to combat the illness. We should take our own initiatives. The Ministry of health should ensure that whenever there is Cabinet meeting, National Assembly sitting or government workshop, its staff would be around to give vaccination.
