Foroyaa has gathered that investigation is taking place to put the pieces together to what is alleged to be a coup plot. The President of the Republic did not mention the alleged plot in his Christmas Message. However, both Ecowas and AU denounced what they refer to as a coup plot. It may be that they have sufficient information to conclude that there was a coup.
Due process however requires consideration of three stages of what may be called a coup plot; the intention, the plan and the execution stages. Foroyaa hopes that professionalism will be exercised under the law to give concrete evidence to confirm intention, plan and execution.
