WHAT WILL THE IEC DO ABOUT DEAD PERSONS WHOSE NAMES ARE ON THE REGISTER OF VOTERS?

The last general registration of voters was in 2011. Since then many registered voters have passed away, may be up to thousands. But their names are still on the register of voters because there is no deletion exercise conducted by the IEC to delete their names from the register of voters.

This leaves room for voting more than once.
