Bangally Jawara, head coach of Borro Sambarsas, has told Foroyaa Sport that his team is hopeful of clinching the Wuli East tourney.

He said this yesterday, in a post-match interview, following his side’s emphatic victory over Borro Kanda Kasseh.

He said the victory was as a result of their series of trainings and preparations ahead of their first match.

He said: ‘We are in good spirits and are committed to grabbing the prize at stake.’

He added: ‘I want to congratulate my boys for demonstrating what they have learnt during training and I want them to keep up the momentum.’

He said that they are now preparing for their next match and is optimistic that their second outing will be a replica of their opening game in the 2020 Wuli East Tourney.

He appealed to his men to abide by the rules guiding the tournament and be disciplined at all times.
