THE ISRAELI AND PALESTINIANS ARE HOSTAGES OF THE ISRAELI GOVERNMENT

73

The whole world has called on the Netanyahu government not to engage in the bombardment of Rafah. It has been counseled to take part in a ceasefire deal that would put an end to Hamas’ suicidal tendencies and Israel’s genocidal tendencies.

However, this opportunity is under threat by the declared intention of the Israeli government to carry out its genocidal activities to the end, which it said would lead to the crushing of Hamas. It is obvious, hamas’ suicidal tendencies will compel it to take a grand stand against Netanyahu’s genocidal tendencies by releasing as a matter of last resort all its combat capacities against the Israeli people.

At the end of the day, more Israeli and Palestinian people will be killed and maimed while the leaders hide in their bunkers. Needless to say, once one operation is completed, a new generation of fighters will arise who will be prepared to fight another battle. War only begets war. Only diplomacy and political settlement can bring peace. The international community must save the Israeli and Palestinian people from Hamas’ suicidal tendencies and the genocidal tendencies of Netanyahu. Both can lead to destruction of both people who want peace, freedom, prosperity and happiness. They deserve nothing less. Hence the power peg waiting to explode in Rafah should be diffused as soon as possible. Those who are ready to die cannot be expected to surrender.

When Hamas entered Israel on 7th October, the action was denounced all over the world. However, when Netanyahu unleashed genocidal tendencies, the world is now focused on Israeli atrocities. Diplomacy is the only avenue through which the two tendencies could be contained and peace restored before it is too late. The Israeli Government would make a big mistake if it pushes Hamas to demonstrate its last suicide tendencies for martyrdom in their own way at the expense of the Israeli people.
