The second division league is in full swing and all week-seven fixtures have been played. Six-placed Tallinding United beat Jarra West FC 2-0 to move third-placed on the table standings just two points adrift of table-toppers PSV Wellingara who are on 16 points. The game was played at the Late Ousman Saho Field in Old Yundum.

Tallinding United have lost just once since the beginning of the country’s second premier league, drawn twice and won four times. They have scored 10 goals so far and conceded 7.

After beating table-toppers PSV Wellingara 1-0 in week-six, Greater Tomorrow FC have won again. This time against Immigration FC who were on form in the first five matches of the league securing the third position. Played at the Independence Stadium, Greater Tomorrow defeated Immigration FC 3-1 in week-seven of the second division league.

Immigration FC have dropped points in the past two matches they played, drawing in the first and losing in the second. Five points dropped have dropped them out of the top three.

The Brikama-based academy Greater Tomorrow FC were the first and only team to defeat the Wellingara-based club PSV Wellingara who had a goalless draw with second-placed BK Milan in week-seven fixtures. Before facing PSV, Greater Tomorrow managed only one win. Their two wins in a row have earned them 9 points now and moved them away from the danger zone. They now occupy the 10th position.
