Tabally Family Seek Assistance to Re-build Collapsed Building

The Tabally family of Faraba-Sutu village in the West Coast Region, is seeking assistance from all and sundry to rebuild their house.

The roof of their house was blown away and destroyed by heavy winds sometimes ago.

Lamin Tabally, the breadwinner of the family told this medium that part of their house collapsed, destroying their foodstuff and clothes.

“We lost a good part of our foodstuff and as the sole income earner for the family during this global pandemic, it is difficult for me,” he said; that he is currently unemployed.

Lamin said as at now, some members of his family are sleeping in the sitting room of the nearly collapsed house because he has managed to support other parts of the building by using sticks.

The Tabally family told this reporter that they are soliciting support from private Companies, non-governmental organisations, the Government of the Gambia, philanthropists, individuals, private organisations and all Good Samaritans amongst others; that anyone who wants to assist can reach them on the following numbers: 355 8705 or 3053734.
