SHOULD THE STATE NOT RELEASE OUSAINOU DARBOE AND CO, AFTER UDP SELECTS FLAGBEARER?
NOW THAT THE UDP HAS SELECTED ITS PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE, SHOULDN’T THE STATE RELEASE OUSAINOU DARBOE AND ITS PARTY MEMBERS?
It is now clear that the UDP is preparing for elections. What is in the enlightened interest of the nation is for the state not to disadvantage the party in any way by keeping its leadership behind bars. It is absolutely essential to prepare the country for an election that would not be fought with bitterness and frustration. Despite the fact that the UDP leadership has mustered courage in continuing their political activities none of its members would forget that their leadership and members are still incarcerated. A new page needs to be turned as new people to seek the mandate of the electorate.
