Senegalese Gendarmerie Arrest Toumba Diakité

The research section of the national gendarmerie, located at the barracks Samba Diéry Diallo, Friday arrested  . His former real name Aboubacar Sidiki Diakité, a former Guinean soldier who was then the patron of the presidential guard, fired at the former president of the Republic of Guinea, Dadis Camara, in 2009 before fleeing. The latter had been seriously wounded, but did not succumb to his wounds.
Toumba was also accused of being responsible for the massacres at the Conakry stadium on 28 September 2009. An international arrest warrant had been issued against him. According to Senegalese media outlets, he was arrested on Friday 16 December 2016, (7 years after he fled from Guinea) by the Senegalese gendarmerie. He was on Monday arraigned before a judge in the Senegalese capital, Dakar.
According to sources close to the gendarmerie, he lived in Dakar for 5 years under the name of Boubacar Barry, after he completely changed his look.
