Sanneh renews Kenya loan deal

By Sulayman Bah Gambian striker Ebrima Sanneh has added two years to his current Ebrima Sannehloan deal with Kenyan Premier League KRA, Real De Banjul confirms. Manneh initially departed Banjul-based Real for Nairobi City Stars on a six-month loan, but the club failed to stay up in the Kenyan Premier League. And pouncing on the City Stars relegation, Kenya Revenue Authority –another top tier club –decided to make a swoop after the Gambian’s loan duration with Nairobi-based ended, brokering an agreement with parent club Real De Banjul to secure Sanneh’s service for two years. How much money KRA slapped on RDB’s table for the 19-year-old remains undisclosed. A delighted Ebrima upon signing the dotted lines told Real’s site: “KRA is a very good team and has one of the best coaches in Kenya who I’ve met, I am looking forward to being part of this team and prove myself. I want to thank Real de Banjul for offering me this chance and I promise to do my job to the best of my ability,” Elucidating on the move, Real De Banjul’s manager Willy Abraham said his club took the initiative for the move to ensure he stays in the first division. KRA dubbed ‘tax men’ finished eleventh in the sixteen–team PL on thirty-three points, three places above the relegation zone.    ]]>
