Yerro
After one month he came back to visit his family but prior Pat acted as a wife to him as they visit places at first they both stayed at their respective places both she later moved to Yerro’ house and sleeps there when Yerro said he was coming home she became angry.
Pat
“You are enjoying my services and I am a jealous cat who don’t want to share just spend the weekend and come back to your ‘mama’.”
Yerro
“Don’t be selfish!” He showed her his ring:
“Remember Asum is my wife and we belong to each other.”
Pat
“Okay you are right but we shall see how it works.” Yerro left.
“I’ll trap him to also tie the knot with me as well.”
Asum
She was very observant and is no longer sure of Yerro;
“What is so important at H/Quarters that kept him away from his young family only time will tell.” Asum said in soliloquy
Angie
She called Pat aside and spoke to her as a sister.
“Pat am sorry please don’t see it as prying we are all women who should help each other and not to destroy each other; what God has put together let no man put asunder it is about your movements with Yerro he is a married man for God’ sake when you lobby for him to get the weekend job I thought it was genuine and when I teased you I was real and thought you did it to help but not anymore you have in fact taken over Yerro is now your bona fide husband out of wedlock, it is unfair to that poor lady at the other end burning herself out for her young family and I am warning you if you break this relationship Khmer will punish you big time come out now before it is too late your man will come at the right time you are still young and beautiful do unto others as you would like them do unto you. Am sorry if I hurt your feeling.”
Pat
She listen then left without uttering a word.
Angie shrugged her shoulders and left.
“Who is she being my boss does not mean she ‘ll run my life as well Yerro is mine and mine alone Khmer or no Khmer.”
At the Village
The couple visited Yerro’ village deep in the jungle and his parents were thrilled;

“My son you are blessed with a virtuous wife she walk and run the work she gave you everything including two beautiful kids Ngenarr and Baaba never take her for granted you are now posted at H/Quarters you said you used to come for weekends but no longer be very careful my son you are naïve and in the midst of wolves in sheep’ clothing you said your female friend Pat find you this job and also lobby the weekend package for you at what cost is she doing it free, does she has lustful eyes over a handsome man like you? I was there a civil servant in the city leaving your mother at the village which almost cost me my life, be very careful don’t be naïve you know what I am talking about. End the weekend job as soon as you achieve your aim relocate your family to H/Quarters your wife mere presence will wade off their lustful eyes.”
Yerro
“Thank you dad for the useful advice but nothing like that would happen.”
Asum
She just stayed mute without uttering a word to Yerro’ surprise.
Yerro
Alone he reflected;
“But why did she remain silent she is a hawk and up to something.”
Mama Jaabel
“How are the kids? Sorry my daughter the work is hectic now that your husband is away from you but God dey stay strong for your children.”
Asum
“Thank you mama for your concern I’ll manage for my children they are the only one I have and working for.”
The family stayed the whole weekend then went back home where Yerro stayed for few more days to make it up for his young family but throughout Pat was impatient ringing all the time until Yerro put his phone on silence.
Back At Work
Pat snubbed Yerro for sometimes but he too stood ground and paid back in kind she later come back to her senses and apologized;

“I am very sorry Yerro I missed you and I was very lonely while you were away.”
Yerro
“You have to be cautious I respect my wife she is a noble lady also why did you keep ringing me when I spend all the time with you.”
Pat
“Sorry Sweet heart I’ll stop being naughty but I am always sad when you are leaving me.”
Kongosa
She goes around the company bringing and taking back negative as well as positive news Angie is very careful with her;
Angie
“Jonsaba! What is the latest?”
Jonsaba
“Haven’t you heard?”
Angie
“Heard what?”
Jonsaba
“That Lady D’ is pregnant for Yerro.”
Angie
“What Yerro are you talking about? That poor woman’ husband?”
Jonsaba
“Pat is pregnant with twins according to the scan which she showed me.”
Angie
“So Pat went ahead and get pregnant for that married man that was her scheme to snatch the man from his lawfully wedded wife? Some of these women are so shameless that they will go to all extent just to execute their evil plans but God is awake I am waiting for Khmer’ judgment and I’ll be here to remind Pat of her evil deed, disgusting!”
