At the City
Efy went to the city to visit Tunde who was surprised to see her as he was cautious and listened to her attentively.
Efisiny
“I’ve come back to my soul mate my greedy mother confused me as she presented Ted into my life, I’ve never love him you are the one I love my heart please accept me back.”
Tunde
He was stunned as he just stared at Efy without uttering a word.
Efy
She quickly assumed the household chores and cooked Tunde’ delicacy he refused to eat as he has already eaten at a restaurant where he has his food when he is at the city.
At Bully’ Restaurant
He met Mama Ratha and discussed his mind with her but brought it in the form of a story;
“Mama Ra a friend of mine was courting a girl for years spent huge sums of money to educate her at university now that she is a graduate her greedy mom found a rich suitor for her and they betrayed my friend now that the marriage is at the verge of collapse the girl appeared and wants my friend to take her back blaming her mother for the mess up, my friend still have feeling for this girl what should you advise him to do?”
Mama Ratha
“He should be very cautious because that girl is very unreliable a university graduate! How can she allow an illiterate mother to ruin her life? After everything that this man has done for her and she can just betray him within the twinkle of an eye? Let him just leave her and continue his life she was never his wife his wife will surely come is my candid advice also he should not eat anything prepared by her.”
Tunde
“Thank you very much Mama Ratha I’ll convey the message.”
Mama Ratha
“You are welcome also he should not sleep with her.”
Efy
She wore a seductive dress to lure Tunde but he took Mama Ratha’ advice and refused the temptation and when she insisted he told her off.
Tunde
“What sort of woman are you? How can you ask me to sleep with you when you are Ted’ wife? He has not divorce you yet your marriage is just having some problems; betrayal is painful I don’t want to hurt another person as I was hurt by you.”
Tunde bolted himself in his bedroom and left Efy stranded as she slept upon the settee in the sitting room. He woke up before her and left in order not to see her in the morning.
Efy
She woke up and there was no Tunde;
“I am disgraced Tunde has rejected me and he was my last hope where should I go now?” She asked.
Back to the Village
She went straight to Bimbo and explained to her;
“I am just from the city.”
Bimbo
“To the city! What were you doing at the city?” She asked with curiosity.
Efy
“I went to visit Tunde.”
Bimbo
“Tunde! Which Tunde are you talking about? I hope not the one you ditched for the Don Ted?”
Efy
“Which ever Tunde should I go to in the city? Do you know me with a different Tunde?”
Bimbo
“My cousin I don’t know you anymore speak out I am curious which Tunde have you visited at the city.”
Efy
“I visited Tunde Njie my ex I want him back he is my soul mate he is the one I love not Ted who was my mother’ scheme.’
Bimbo
“You are shameless and confuse how can you go to the city to visit Tunde who is in the past do you think you can have your cake and eat it? Are you kidding me? You made your bed you have to lay on it period! And please stop blaming your mother you wanted it when she suggested Ted you knew what you were going into you yourself told me at different occasions when I was trying to put sense into you. Tunde will never accept you back with that I can bet my life because even if he wanted to I’ll vehemently opposed it.”
Efy
“You are right he nicely rejected me I cooked his delicacy he rejected it I wanted fun and he denied me and left me stranded at his sitting room and left early before I woke up he said I am somebody’ wife and he’ll not commit fornication with me. I regretted the day I set eyes on Ted and would never forgive my greedy mother for the mess she put me in.”

“Yes your mother is greedy but you are educated you should have refused her treachery.”

He came back to the village and share his dilemma with her dad;
