PPP to hold congress in Brikamaba

People Progressive Party (PPP) said on Wednesday they will hold their National Congress on the 26th and 27th of February 2021 in Brikama-ba, in Lower Fulladu West District of the Central River Region.

In fulfillment of Article 6 (b) of the PPP Constitution, the National Executive Committee under the Leadership of Kebba E. Jallow, Interim Secretary-General and Party Leader of the People’s Progressive Party, wishes to inform all members that the PPP will be having their National Congress on the 26th and 27th of February 2021 in Brikama-ba, in Lower Fulladu West District of the Central River Region.

According to the Release, the PPP National Congress is an opportunity to discuss matters relating to the basic ideas, ideals, and principles on which the party was founded on;

That consequently all party members are encouraged to take note of the date and to show up in their large numbers; that this forthcoming congress is very significant as the party wishes to amend its Constitution and elect new Executive members.
