The win clocks the Ferry Boys thirty-six points in seventeen domestic league matches with five games to end of the championship. They lead Brikama United, sitting closely second in the standings and who mowed down Gamtel 3-0, by six points.

Third-placed Real de Banjul also closed in on the aforesaid two teams walking over Steve Biko 1-0 while Banjul United and Hawks tied a 2-2 affair with Serrekunda United drawing Samger goalless.
