Mrs. Sirra Wally Ndow-Njie the Minister of Petroleum has been redeployed to the portfolio of deputy minister of tourism, 
according to a release aired on GRTS television evening news yesterday, Monday, 19 April 2016.
She was appointed as minister of petroleum on 16 February 2015 following her removal from the portfolio of minister of energy on 10 June 2010.
Mrs. Ndow-Njie was first appointed to the cabinet of president Jammeh in December 2009 from NAWEC.
