Omani club signs Bakau United duo

By Sulayman Bah An Omani club has contracted two Gambian players from Bakau United on an undisclosed sum, Foroyaa Sport Omar Ndongcan reveal. The duo finalised their moves recently and joined the Omani professional League outfit on a two-year deal each. Omar Ndong captain of Bakau United has since arrived in Oman while Saihou Ceesay a midfielder is also on the brink of moving in. The duo are offered deals on the recommendation of Ebrima Camara who had a successful spell with Jalan FC whom he helped secure promotion to the top flight the previous campaign. Ceesay and Ndong’s new club is identified as Al-Wahda Sports Club Confirming the signings to Foroyaa Sport, Bakau United coach Kebba Touray said: ‘They (the two players) signed two years each. And the Oman league was to start last weekend’ Having transferred, Ceesay and Ndong become the third Bakau United players to have penned professional contracts this month after former captain Saihou Jawneh who sealed a move to Swedish second tier outfit Angelhom.]]>
