Foroyaa Art and Culture has conducted an interview with a Gambian Music
Producer and RnB artiste, Famara Sambou, alias Nova, who is the CEO of
Ghetto Boy Music Studio. Nova has produced another new song entitled
‘Tears of a Woman’, a 3 minutes and 36 seconds afro wave song, which
was officially released on Saturday, 10 October 2015.“’Tears of a Woman’ is an anthem for women which extol the qualities
they possess. Women are our mothers, wives and sisters who should be
treated fairly within the society without harassment or maltreatment.
Every man on earth should respect and support all woman,’’ said Nova.
Nova has been in the entertainment arena for almost a decade and has
recorded and released many hits of his own both on video and audio as
well as produced for many local artistes. His releases have also made
a hit outside the country on radio stations. He has produced for
Benjamin, Jaliba Kuyateh, Diha, Cess Ngum, Magnicent Joe, Singateh,
Solja Pap, P Mo, Abu and Fafa, Tapha Artist, Bai Babou, S.T, Yusupha
Ngum, Benjamin, among others.
Nova disclosed that many projects are in the pipeline to support young
Gambian artists in their music career. He said he is working hard to
accomplish his projects.
He called on the musicians to come together and support each other.
Nova also took the opportunity to extend his condolence to the family
and friends of the late Musa Ngum, who passed away recently.
