Lamg Tombong Tamba, and five others, said their loved one was not among those pardoned by the president as some have already started spreading. Visiting the family home at London Corner in Serekunda, the close relative told this reporter that people both in the Gambia and abroad have been calling their pones and mistakenly congratulating them for the release of Modou. “In fact, these calls had initially convinced the family that he was released, but we did not receive any call from any official that he was pardoned by the president,” he said.
