Mamut Saine, pictured, was thrown in the fray in the dying minutes while Jammeh starred to the end as club Mamut Saine 3RoPS closes in on leaders HJK.

Watched by one thousand, eight hundred and fifteen spectators away to Turku stadium, visiting RoPS stole the headlines with a resolute style of play.

Traylor opened the scoring after thirty minutes before Nigeria’s Nwanganga leveled matters thirteen minutes later to give the hosts Inter Turku rays of hope.

But the second-half gave a different reading with Kokko plastering the ball beyond Inter Moisander’s reach in the 68th minute to pick all points for Abdou Jammeh and Mamut Saine.

Saine who joined the club recently, got a place on the substitute’s bench and a one minute cameo replacing scorer Taylor as RoPS desperately guarded their fragile lead.

It was the 22-year-old’s league debut after sitting out a while with an injury. RoPS are second on the table a point behind leaders HJK.

Still in the Finnish Premier League, Tijan Jaiteh played his fifth match for KuPS but wassubbed thirteen minutes from time as they got beaten by HIFK in Helsinki. KuPS are third from bottom with four defeats in five matches.
