Mamut Saine is close to securing a contract with Turkish-Cypriot cub Küçük Kaymaklı Türk SK, Foroyaa Sport can report.

The former Gambia U-20 international is club-less following the elapse of his deal with Finnish Premier League club RoPS.

A central midfielder, the 23-year-old has featured in a couple of the club’s pre-season games on trial.

Küçük Kaymaklı Türk SK plays in the Northern Cyprus Super League.

Saine, voted Greece second tier best foreign player in 2016, raked up seventeen appearances for RoPS some of which included in the Europa league qualifiers.

Catalogue of injuries is blamed for his sudden slow progress, however, he’s now looking for a fresh start with a club in the Northern Cyprus Super League.

A deal could be finalised possible in coming days.
