By Sulayman Bah Injured Gambia stopper, Kebba Ceesay, could hand Polish clubKebba Ceesay Lech Poznan a much needed beef up with news of his imminent return. The 25-year-old has been out on the treatment table and hasn’t played since November last year after sustaining a career threatening injury to his ankle. Ceesay who last had a call-up to national duty with Gambia in 2013 against Algeria, went under the knife in Sweden –a procedure dubbed successful by Lech Poznan doctors. Kebba has now began light workout as part of obligatory rehabilitation in what will surely be a welcome piece of news to fans who are increasingly growing disillusioned over the club’s defence woes. The former Djurgarden player is not expected to quickly return to first team action too soon but could be included in reserve as part of club doctors’ plan for the Gambian’s recuperation. Lech Poznan is fifth-placed in the 16-team table. Countryman and team-mate Muhamed Keita is also sidelined with an abrasion. Elsewhere striker Momodou Ceesay is also sitting out and could miss the entire season after undergoing a surgery to his left knee.]]>
