The Ministry of Agriculture has issued a press release pointing out that there is enough cash available at all buying points across the country.

Farmers are therefore urged to take their nuts to the nearest buying point where it will be sold at D18,000.

It added that for each ton of Groundnut, Government is paying a subsidy of D5,932 to enable farmers get D18,000 as farm gate price.

The Government through the Ministry of Agriculture reassures the farming communities of her full support at all times.
