Scotland-based female football team Glasgow Girls FC are scheduled to land in Gambia today.
The visit will be one of those programmes to uplift the standard of Women Football in the Gambia.
Women national team of the Gambia have been shaping up ahead of Scotland Glasgow Girls’ FC visit to Banjul who they are set to play.
The Scorpions under coach Maram Boom Sowe’s flagship swaggered past Abuko United scoring two goals, courtesy of Awa Tamba (pictured) and Isatou Jallow.
The victory GFF women domestic league outfit is arranged to hand a test to lady scorpions gaffer Sowe who is due to pick her final players for the friendly test match against Glasgow Girls FC this month.
The Scottish Girls visit to Banjul is facilitated by Adventure Kicks partnering with Gilkock Football Academy and the GFF.
The Glasgow Girls will also play against Red Scorpions FC and Interior FC both in the Women 1st division league in addition to another football engagement with the Brufut based Gilkcok Academy.
