Red Hawks have shown they could make a huge upset when the occasion demands proving this with a win over one-time GFF First Division giants Bakau United.
Red Hawks walked over Blue Star 1-0 in their last game and while it might be early days for projections, Hawks are certainly laying a good foundation.
Hawks thrashed Bakau United 2-1 as Fortune FC breezed past Brufut United who flogged Banjul United 4-3 in their previous fixture. Fortune slashed Brufut 1-0 with BK Milan drawing Interior goalless.
In Last week’s games, Brufut United and Banjul United fixture was the talking point in a clash that saw seven goals scored altogether.
Brufut who narrowly missed out on promotion to the top division last term, wriggled out of this contest albeit with little bruises but eventually secured the staked spoils, beating Banjul United 4-3.
That contest was followed by Red Hawks sahsaying over Blue Star 1-0. Fortune thumped Interior 3-0 while Kexx United suffered a bullying in the hands of Young Africans when they lost 1-0.

In the women’s league, Immigration strolled over Gambia Armed Forces 1-0 while Interior beat Brikama 2-1. Kinteh’s Company- Abuko game got called off.
In the second women’s tier, Red Scorpions trounced City Girls 4-1 as Jeshwang beat Jam City 2-1.
