Brufut who narrowly missed out on promotion to the top division last term, wriggled out of this contest albeith with little bruises but eventually secured the staked spoils, beating Banjul United 4-3.

That contest was followed by Red Hawks sahsaying over Blue Star 1-0. Fortune thumped Interior 3-0 while Kexx United suffered a bullying in the hands of Young Africans when they lost 1-0.
