The 17th edition of the International Trade Fair organised annually by the Gambia Chamber of Commerce and Industry(GCCI), the Gambia’s private sector apex body, is billed to bring to the smiling coast of Africa, top-notch entrepreneurs from across the world.

Saul Frazer, board chairperson of GCCI, made this disclosure while speaking at the launching of the 17th edition of ‘Trade Fair Gambia International’ (TFGI), at the Chamber’s Brusubi office called Kerr Jula.

“This year’s trade fair promises an even more remarkable turnout than before, with an expectation of 500 stalls including entrepreneurs from across the ECOWAS region, Europe and Asia. The stakes this time around are higher, the opportunities broader and our commitment unwavering,” the GCCI board chairperson said.

He said TFGI is not just an event, but rather an intersection of aspiration, innovation and opportunity that nurtures an environment for businesses to flourish, regardless of their size or sector.

“As we launch this grand event, let us remind ourselves that success favours the prepared,” Mr Frazer said.

He added stalls will be allocated on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis, and urges businesses to seize this moment to be part of a transformation experience.

TFGI is the leading business exhibition in the country that creates a platform for enterprises to grip and publicise their interests and benefits to the public, and to partner with and invest in achievable small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from various sectors.

This year’s eventwill be held at the Trade Fair grounds in Brusubi, for the third time.
