Potential Scorpion Noah Sonko Sundberg has let rip into his two clubs over their handling of his latest transfer.

The 20-year-old was due to leave parent club AIK Solna to return to fellow Swedish premier league outfit GIF Sundsvall where he played the previous season. Sonko’s decision to seek a loan transfer for the second time boiled down to frustration over his lack of consideration for playing time by AIK Solna.

Gaffer Rikard Norling recalled Sonko after watching him impress at Sundsvall promising playing time to the youngster come the new season –a thing the coach failed to fulfill.

Seeing chances hard to come by, Noah thought it best to go out on loan and a verbal agreement was reached for his return to GIF Sundsvall for 12 months.

But controversy dogged the process after both clubs –his parent side and new employers – rushed to make public the player’s transfer without the defender even signing contract papers to that effect.

And Sundberg has come out to throw a jibe on both sides over what he calls their poor handling of his transfer.

‘I think it was poorly managed. I do not know why they went out there and said it without me signing, I really do not know. Verbal agreements don’t mean much it’s only relevant when you sign papers,’ he says of the situation.

‘Suppose, something happened to me, an injury, for example, and I had not been able to come here. It would be weird that they go out with it. It was wrong,’ Noah, who’s eligible to play for Gambia through his mother, tells ST.

Elsewhere in the Swedish second tier, multiple-time capped defender Kebba Ceesay has debuted for Dalkurd whom he joined weeks ago and got to play his second match for the side in the 1-0 win over GAIS on Sunday.
