It adds that the state media should convey divergent views and dissenting opinions. This however is not the case. Hence the Gambian people do not get a balanced opinion from their state broadcaster. Those who hold contending political views have every right to establish media houses which would do what the state media fail to do. Gambia should join the ranks of countries which have radio stations owned by political parties which would contest for audience by being objective in their reporting.]]>
