By Kebba Camara One of the most successful Gambian artists Freaky Joe also known asFreaky Joe Singhateh, said he would soon leave the Gambia to begin his European tour which sometimes take 6 months. Singhateh said this in an exclusive interview with this reporter. “I Just want to use the opportunity to inform all fans and loved ones that ma be by next week I will leave the Gambia for Europe to start my European tour as usual. Every year, I mostly spend 6 months in Europe to entertain my fans who are not in the Gambia. All arrangements are made for me to stage shows in many countries in Europe,: announced Singhateh. Freaky Joe said he is also working on his debut album and going to Europe would allow him to visit more standard studios and do the final work on his album before it will be released this year. Singhateh said this would also give him the opportunity to meet the artists he wants to feature in the album. “By the grace of God I will be in town again around November/December so that I can reunite with my family and fans in the Gambia,”said Joe. Singhateh finally thanked his fans for always being there for him. He said even if he missed the Gambia for several years, he would always find his fans loyal to him. Together we will push our music industry forward,the Gambian singer concludes.    ]]>
