Balla Garba Jahumpa the Minister of Works and Infrastructure who also doubles as the APRC Campaign Manager, said election is Bala Gaba Jahumpanot about trifling but rather nation development. According to him, for more than 30 years, West Coast Region never enjoyed national development but now all those sufferings are history.

Minister Jahumpa was speaking to the people of Sanyang, Kombo South, on Saturday, 26 November, 2016 at a meeting organised by the Alliance for Patriotic Re-orientation and Construction (APRC) as part of their nationwide tour.

President Jammeh built a university in order to elevate education to a high level in the country, he said. He informed his audience that the Vice President has led a delegation to Faraba to lay a foundation stone for the new university.
Hon Jahumpa said President Jammeh represents the younger generation of Africa and will not hesitate to defend Africa.

For his part, APRC Mobiliser Mayor Yankuba Colley said he is optimistic that Jammeh will win in Kombo South. He rejected the opposition’s claim that if they win they will reduce the price of a bag of rice, describing this claim as empty words, noting that they (the opposition) are not in control of the world market.
Hon Colley pointed out that President Jammeh polled over 400,000 votes in the 2011 presidential election, noting that the December 1 election will yield the world’s biggest history. Violence should not be embraced because all the political parties are one family and besides Thursday, before mid-night, APRC will drown in victory, says APRC national mobiliser.

Hon Abdou Colley, the National Assembly member for Kombo South, asserted that Kombo South has seen no one but President Jammeh, noting that before the regime of President Jammeh there was no infrastructural development in Kombo South but now thanks to the President all those are made possible.

Constituency Chairman Omar Njie Touray said President Jammeh has good intention for the nation. He commended President Jammeh for bringing unprecedented infrastructural development in Kombo South. He described him as a peaceful man and therefore assured him of their votes.

Sanyang Ward Councillor, Ajaratou Ida Ndure, also joined other speakers in highlighting numerous developments the Jammeh administration brought to Kombo South. She said the Tanji Bridge was not good but thanks to President Jammeh, it is now constructed.  Councillor Ndure urged the people of Kombo South to massively vote for the APRC party.
