Court Grants Bail to Farato Land Dealer Alagie Jobe

Farato land dealer Alagie Jobe was on Monday granted bail by Magistrate P Sowe after the prosecuting officer told the Court that the prosecution has concluded its investigation into the matter.

In her ruling, her worship P Sowe said she heard the application for bail made by counsel on behalf of the accused person, and that the prosecution has informed the court that the investigation in this matter has been concluded by investigators.

The Court relied on the Criminal Procedure Code to grant bail to the defendant in the sum of D100,000. Her worship also ordered the Court to produce two Gambian sureties, who should depose to an affidavit of means in the like sum and surrender their biometric ID Cards or Passports at the court registry.
