Indications from victims and those who empathise with them are that some victims just cannot wait until the end of the TRRC process. It is therefore important for the TRRC in the counselling process to identity those who could wait and those who would wait at their own peril. It is inhuman to encourage a person to confess and perpetrators to confirm injustices done only to sit down and watch the victim live with his or her pain without any redress.
