Foroyaa has been informed that burglars have broken and entered the
office of Magistrate Muhammed L.K. Bojang of the Kanifing Magistrates’
Court before day break on Monday, 13 July 2015.
Visiting the court premises yesterday, Magistrate Bojang confirmed theburglary to this reporter, but added that nothing has been established
as missing yet. He showed this reporter the damaged burglar proof at
the window through which the burglar entered into his office.
The magistrate said it appeared that the incident happened on Sunday night.
He said when he came to work on Monday morning he found some of his
files scattered within the office.
“We cannot say anything as at now because we don’t know whether any of
our files are missing,” said Magistrate Bojang.
He added that they are still going through their files to find out
whether or not anything is missing.
The magistrate also said there was no money in the office at the time
but only the files dealing with criminal, drug, anti littering related
cases, among many others.]]>
