Boost for Gambian refs with MA course

By Sulayman Bah The Gambia Football Federation, in collaboration with FIFA, will be organising a training course for elite referees from Monday 3rd – Friday 7th August, 2015 at the Paradise Suites Hotel in Kololi. Thirty-two (32) Referees will benefit from the training course, including all our FIFA men and women referees. The training is meant to further enhance their understanding in refereeing and to create a platform of uniformity of interpretation and application of the laws. The program will be jointly co-ordinated by the GFF and FIFA. Resource persons include Mr. Felix Tangawarima, as Course Director, and Mr. Mark Mzengo, as Physical Instructor, while the course will be supervised by Mr. Carlos Henriques, Referees Development Officer at FIFA for English Speaking Africa. The President of the Gambia Football Federation Mr. Lamin Kabba Bajo will give a key note speech on the occasion. Senior government and GFF officials are expected to grace the opening ceremony of the program.]]>
